Life is to be savored, and the world is to be explored.

So we make it easier to travel light and hold hands, not bulky bags.

Our Story

Anick Guira is a Canadienne-born mom of three with a love for enjoying simple moments with the people she adores. Whether she’s picnicking by her garden or taking a spontaneous trip to the beach, Anick believes in slowing down and traveling light.

It was until a family trip to St. Barts when Anick realized how important it is to have a “take-everywhere” blanket.

She was tired of schlepping heavy chairs through hot sand and replacing cheap blankets every year. So she returned to her home in New York City and set out to create one blanket for every adventure, big or small. Nomadienne was born.

The name comes not only from Anick’s affection for her NoMad (North of Madison Square Park) neighborhood in the city, but her self-proclaimed identity as a true nomadienne. Anick’s soul comes alive with traveling, and wants to share that with you.

“A nomad I will remain for life, in love with distant and uncharted places.”
